I’m primarily a painter—oil being my first and forever love. My style borders between realistic and expressionistic. I try to create a delicate balance between smooth transitions to depict form and expressive marks that retain my energy. 

 

I live and breathe my work. I meditate on it.  I relish experimenting—mixing media, printmaking, and exploring unexpected materials. 

 

Over the years I have explored the themes of man versus nature, life’s transitions, and connectivity between all living things. My most recent interests lie in where we are heading as a society, the influx of technology, and earth's fragility.
